whether you fasted today or not, eid mubarak to all of you! may Allah accept all our good deeds and grant us the gift of seeing many future ramadans filled with good accepted deeds - ameen!
a small gift to celebrate eid - i've uploaded some high quality recitations from one of my favorite qaris - sheikh mahir al-muaiqly! these were obtained off of his official website before it went down sometime in ramadan, then converted into mp3. the quality is amazing! and, as always, you can always hear him the madinah 1426 and 1427 sets (my favorite is surat yunus in the 1426 madinah set, he recites the majority of the sura starting from a little before the 3 minute mark). also, i've uploaded a little over 90 suras for sheikh muhammad al-luhaidan as well.
on the subject of ramadan, if anyone obtains complete high quality audio for the 1428 taraweeh sets [especially Makkah, but also Madinah], please let me know! (the contact email address on the "about" page of quranicaudio.com).

al-muaiqly’s recitation is really nice, specially its blues genre.

Jezakum Allahu khayrin, this is mashaAllah really one of the most beneficial websites. I use the prayer time finder often, and benefit from the recitations. may Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala make it sadaqa jariya for the keepers and contributors of the site.
I was wondering if it is possible to actually download from the site, so that I could put it onto my computer? When I click on the recitation through the ‘download’ section it just goes to another page and streams it. I cannot forward, etc. I checked in both firefox and explorer.
Please let me know, as I think this used to be possible.

u can save the mp3′s from here.

click the recitor u want, and then wen it opens, right click on the surah and go to “Save Target As” and save it where u want inshaALlah
